Beskrivelse:

This workshop proposes a game with the triangle as the protagonist.

We will work on geometry by constructing figures using only the triangle and we will discover that it is the most important piece in geometry, since it serves as the basis for building all the other polygons. Then we will make a visual interpretation of the Pythagorean theorem while playing with different types of materials and constructions. These will serve us to verify that, when we build the triangular shape, it has a key importance for the support of structures.

For each cycle we will work on the concepts in a simpler or more elaborate way. For the upper cycle we can approach the Pythagorean theorem without problems since they work multiplications and area calculations. For the middle cycle we will do it visually without going into numbers and we can play with this concept through the tangram.

It can be combined with another math workshop we offer. If two workshops are held, the duration is 2 hours and two groups can come to class at the same time. Depending on the age, the workshops are:

Objectives:

• Develop basic mathematical skills, start in solving problems that require the performance of elementary operations of calculation, geometric knowledge and estimates, and be able to apply them to everyday life situations.
• Apply, in diverse contexts, the different acquired knowledge and own resources, in order to solve problems creatively.
• Enhance imagination, creativity and participation
